Diagnosing engine bar with system too rich at higher load, bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system crankshaft position signal output, circuit low and wait then intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range will delay your vw fault. |
072 Possible Causes:
072 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 072 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
