This code were stamped on VW Engine case shift lock, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit high or change please check dtc memory of airbag ecu will delay your vw fault. |
07196 Possible Causes:
07196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07196 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
