This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal you can see the power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible is the final reason of the code. |
07196 Possible Causes:
07196 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 07196 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control module, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
