Staring in engine load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground and wait then wheel speed signal 3, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07187 Possible Causes:
07187 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07187 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
