This something to do with the intake camshaft timing signal 'door up' not recognized retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start engine torque reduction, short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07176 Possible Causes:
07176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 07176 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
