Staring in engine throttle position output, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction also combustion detection during deceleration is the final reason of the code. |
07173 Possible Causes:
07173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07173 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
