The problem is about fuel additive control module warning lamp request mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1 also exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
07173 Possible Causes:
07173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07173 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
