This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold runner bank 1 control, basic setting aborted mechanical limit closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high also air leak between maf and throttle body will delay your vw fault. |
07170 Possible Causes:
07170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 07170 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
