The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant degassing valve, control circuit high you can see the nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
07170 Possible Causes:
07170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 07170 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
