This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
07165 Possible Causes:
07165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 07165 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
