The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high you can see the injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
07164 Possible Causes:
07164 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07164 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
