This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system electronic control module incorrect coding or change intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
07163 Possible Causes:
07163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 07163 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump, fuel calibration not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
