Accumulated in electronic control units so motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake intake air heater "a", system performance also oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07161 Possible Causes:
07161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 07161 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
