Staring in engine starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator shut-off, open or short to ground also control module defect is the final reason of the code. |
07161 Possible Causes:
07161 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 07161 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
