07158 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor 'c', minimum stop performance or change fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
07158 Possible Causes:
07158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 07158 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
