The problem is about control module defective mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical also oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit will delay your vw fault. |
07148 Possible Causes:
07148 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 07148 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
