07144 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high and wait then ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
07144 Possible Causes:
07144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07144 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
