The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault power supply (b+) terminal 15, implausible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction . On the other hand fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
07128 Possible Causes:
07128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 07128 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
