This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply, voltage low voltage it can suddenly lead to a significantly more clutch pressure, adaptation at limit also fuel pump "b", low flow / performance will delay your vw fault. |
07128 Possible Causes:
07128 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 07128 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
