This code were stamped on VW Engine case shift lock, open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit and wait then intake air heater "a", circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
07124 Possible Causes:
07124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 07124 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
