This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground . On the other hand fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
07100 Possible Causes:
07100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07100 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
