07100 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed signal, circuit open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction . So for next pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
07100 Possible Causes:
07100 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07100 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
