This something to do with the intake camshaft timing low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit also valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
071 Possible Causes:
071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 071 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
