Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low or control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
07098 Possible Causes:
07098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07098 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
