Diameter in engine injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction also secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
07098 Possible Causes:
07098 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07098 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
