This code were stamped on VW Engine case 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu also intake manifold runner control, default not reached is the final reason of the code. |
07096 Possible Causes:
07096 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 07096 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
