When you open fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high you can see the pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
07089 Possible Causes:
07089 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 07089 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
