07087 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) or coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
07087 Possible Causes:
07087 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07087 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
