07079 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. or ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
07079 Possible Causes:
07079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 07079 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
