The problem is about actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation is the final reason of the code. |
07046 Possible Causes:
07046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07046 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
