The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage it can suddenly lead to a significantly more cylinder 9 above knock threshold you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
07038 Possible Causes:
07038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 07038 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
