07029 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel level sensor 2, circuit low voltage and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak is the final reason of the code.

07029 Possible Causes:

07029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 07029 Code

  • Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), open circuit
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
