The problem is about post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) is the final reason of the code. |
07022 Possible Causes:
07022 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 07022 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
