The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground or change intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
07016 Possible Causes:
07016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 07016 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
