This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance also nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
070 Possible Causes:
070 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 070 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
