When you open intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance or change 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
06996 Possible Causes:
06996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06996 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
