This code were stamped on VW Engine case cylinder 12 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded and oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

06992 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 06992 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
