Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor wheel speed signal 3, range / performance and o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |
06987 Possible Causes:
06987 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 06987 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
