When you open turbo/super charger, under-boost condition the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission ratio, implausible or change exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |
06986 Possible Causes:
06986 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06986 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
