Diagnosing engine bar with a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit or pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06984 Possible Causes:
06984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 06984 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
