This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles performance malfunction in cooling system . 06982 Possible Causes:
06982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06982 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
