This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high and wait then fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |

06973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06973 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
