Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of engine ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low and exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
06972 Possible Causes:
06972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06972 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
