The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault internal control module: eeprom error retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges or change secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

06968 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06968 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
