The problem is about reductant temperature sensor, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine torque reduction, open / short to ground also shift up/down wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
06964 Possible Causes:
06964 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06964 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
