06964 Description And Summary :
When you open exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor starter interlock, circuit short to ground also valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code.

06964 Possible Causes:

06964 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor circuit
Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
