This code were stamped on VW Engine case air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of engine ecu also 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
06963 Possible Causes:
06963 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06963 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
