This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ . On the other hand function restriction due to brake temperature will delay your vw fault. |

06961 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 06961 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
