This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm power input, signal low and please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
06960 Possible Causes:
06960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06960 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
