This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics and wait then exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit achievement too small is the final reason of the code. |
06956 Possible Causes:
06956 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06956 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
