06954 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of brake system ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit also exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault.

06954 Possible Causes:

06954 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 06954 Code

  • Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to b+
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
