06949 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust gas recirculation system performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed or change fuel supply heater, control circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
06949 Possible Causes:
06949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 06949 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
