Diagnosing engine bar with glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low or change turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |

06949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 06949 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
