This code were stamped on VW Engine case secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit or change intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |

- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 06940 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
