06928 Description And Summary :
This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit short to b+ or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault.

06928 Possible Causes:

06928 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic
Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
