This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply, malfunction and engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
06922 Possible Causes:
06922 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 06922 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
