Staring in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open or change turbocharger control module, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
06917 Possible Causes:
06917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 06917 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
