Accumulated in electronic control units so nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low and wait then sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
06917 Possible Causes:
06917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06917 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
