Staring in engine bank 1; system too lean at idle run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low or change mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
06916 Possible Causes:
06916 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 06916 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module defective
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
