This something to do with the intake camshaft timing friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit low you can see the turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
06911 Possible Causes:
06911 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 06911 Code
- Inspect all the connections rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
